The Log Cabin History
The Log Cabin was originally constructed in the 1840’s in the woods of Horicon. The Log Cabin was originally used as a home, until Springbrook adopted it in 1999.
The Log Cabin was destined to be chopped down and sold for firewood, but the present owners of Springbrook Estates, Karen and Dennis, decided to relocate and restore the cabin. The Log Cabin was dismantled piece by piece and loaded on trucks and shipped to the Estate. It was then re-built on the property overlooking Springbrook Pond. A loft was added to provide additional space. A field-stone fireplace was created and the cabin is furnished with period decor.
